Jim Davidson, Senior Vice President, Community Development
Jim has more than 15 years of experience with growing and leading online technology and product teams. Prior to ePals, Jim was CEO of Laborfair, a marketplace for connecting service providers with online consumers. Jim led Laborfair through the startup phase and continues to serve as a director with the company. Before Laborfair, Jim was CTO of Nextumi, developers of the fast growing ShareThis.com content sharing platform which enables effortless sharing of publishers' web content and blogs via email, instant messaging, and leading social networks such as Facebook and MySpace.
Previously, Jim served as Vice President, Web Services and Publishing at AOL. Jim led a technology team responsible for several online properties including Digital City, Moviefone, MapQuest, AOL.com, and AOL's core publishing and search systems. Before AOL, Jim was the architect and development lead of Navisoft Naviserver, acquired by AOL in 1995, which was the server component of the web's first integrated authoring and content management system.
